Meet Taylormade Acoustic Duo
We started Taylormade Acoustic Duo in 2008 and since then have performed at thousands of weddings all over the UK. From Loch Fyne in Scotland, to Guernsey in the Channel Islands, and everywhere in between, we've performed around the whole of the UK.
Some weddings have been gorgeous, intimate affairs with only 30 people and at others we have partied the night away getting over 200 people on the dancefloor.
We have performed our beautiful acoustic covers at all types of wedding ceremonies, from church ceremonies, civil ceremonies and partnerships, to humanist ceremonies and renewals of vows. During this time, we have met so many wonderful couples, each of them with unique tastes and ideas but all with a passion for making their wedding day absolutely perfect!
We've faced it all along the way... power cuts (we saved the wedding by performing completely unplugged!), found ourselves in a flooded marquee (we helped build a platform for the stage so our equipment remained dry and the night went ahead!), battled huge blizzards (we helped dig the wedding registrars out of the snow to make sure the wedding could happen during the Beast From The East in 2018!), and have even been filmed by BBC television for a documentary on modern day weddings!
We are also a married couple ourselves. So not only do we have experience in performing at thousands of weddings, we have also been on the same side as you..... as a nervous bride and groom with all the stress and excitement planning a wedding can bring.
It's all of this experience that is absolutely invaluable because we've been on both sides and therefore know exactly what works and most importantly.... what doesn't!

Carley - Lead Vocals/Percussion
Carley is the front lady and lead vocalist for Taylormade Acoustic Duo, Acoustic Trio and Live Band. With her first live performance at the age of 10, she is now a full-time, professional musician with 25 years of experience performing live, so she knows how to put on a show!
Previously signed to a record label, Carley worked alongside Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, The Wanted, Tina Turner) and StarGate (Beyonce, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez) and also earned a publishing contract as testament to her songwriting ability.
With a soulful, powerful voice and passionate performances, whether delicately performing traditional tracks like 'Amazing Grace' or belting classic diva tracks like 'Hot Stuff', Carley's vocals will have you captivated throughout your wedding!
Matt - Guitar/Backing Vocals
In the 20 years Matt has been playing guitar, he has received record label interest with various rock bands and become an incredibly accomplished electric and acoustic guitarist.
He became a full-time, professional musician after taking a leap of faith in 2008 by quitting his job and pursuing a career in music.
Now as lead guitarist and backing vocalist in Taylormade, whether he's playing beautiful acoustic tracks such as 'All Of Me' by John Legend or getting the party started with amazing electric guitar solo's such as 'Livin' On A Prayer', Matt's guitar skills will leave you and your guests seriously impressed!
SilverSpark
With the ambition to be creative as well as perform covers in Taylormade, Matt and Carley also write their own original music under the name SilverSpark. They've just released a brand new single called "The Last Time' which went to Number 1 in Canada's Independent Country Music chart! Check out the video for 'The Last Time' below:
