WEDDING MUSIC IDEAS

Wedding Ceremony:

This is the most important part of the day so we recognise choosing the songs for your ceremony may seem overwhelming. As a guide, we usually perform 8 songs during the Wedding Ceremony itself, as follows:

In our experience, when choosing the songs for your ceremony we recommend choosing ones which complement each aspect of the ceremony. For example:

As your guests are arriving you may want feel good songs like 'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz or 'Let's Stay Together' By Al Green or 'Ain't Nobody' by Chaka Khan as they get your guests feet tapping and create a fantastic feel good start to the day.

Next we recommend having the showstoppers! Big impact songs like 'Songbird' by Eva Cassidy, 'At Last' By Etta James or 'I Can't Help Falling In Love With You' by Elvis or even 'A Moment Like This' by Kelly Clarkson for the entrance of the bride. They create a breathtaking moment and build the emotion for the walk down the aisle to that all important moment when you say 'I Do'.

For the signing of the register we recommend choosing fun songs that everybody loves to get you and your guests smiling away for the photographer. Popular choices have been 'It Must Be Love' By Madness, 'Kiss The Girl' from The Little Mermaid (for obvious reasons!), 'Dreams' by Gabrielle and 'Rather Be' by Clean Bandit.

When you are about to make your way back down the aisle together as a married couple, we would recommend a really upbeat song like 'You've Got The Love' by Candi Staton, 'Marry You' by Bruno Mars or 'Ho Hey' by The Lumineers to send you on your way to your new lives together! This also signals the start of the less formal part of the day and now you can relax and sip Champagne whilst having your wedding day memories captured by the photographer.

P.S. If you have always wanted to walk down the aisle to a certain track but it's currently not on our Acoustic Duo Set List, please let us know. It would be our pleasure to learn that song for you free of charge, so that you can have the wedding you've always dreamed of.
